Rachel Senior Portraits in Downtown Cincinnati

Senior portraits are something that I haven’t done frequently over the past few years, for only because of wedding season. Although I hope to change that, in a very big way. Especially if they all go as well as this one did. When I first talked to Lisa about photographing Rachel’s senior portraits, she didn’t have a huge list of what she wanted. Only that I came highly recommended (thank you to all of my clients that give me recommendations), and that the one thing that she didn’t want is for Rachel’s images to be the same cookie cutter images that everyone else was getting. I knew right then that this was going to be a great session. Usually my first thing that I tell prospective clients is that “I am not the right photogrpaher for everyone” (I know not a great business stand point, although photography isn’t just my business it’s my passion, it’s my art.) I don’t tell people that becuase I don’t want their business, I tell them that so that they understand that their images are going to be one of a kind. I tend to “shoot out of the box”. I was once told in school by an extremely talented set of photogrpahers/instructors that “you have to know the rules to break them.” After hearing Lisa say “we dont want the same as everyone else” made me smile from ear to ear.. Then she followed that up with one of my favoite sayings “we trust you”.. Well Lisa and Rachel I hope that you trust in me was worth it, here are a few teasers from your session on Monday I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do! Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to photograph your Senior Portraits. As well if you or someone you know is looking for one of a kind portraits please have them contact me, I would love to sit down and talk with them about what they are looking for!

Harper Family Train Railyard Cincinnati, OH

Getting the call for the Harper family session is always a joy! From engagement and wedding photos to newborn and family sessions we have been through a lot! The youngsters were excited to explore some train cars and were game to smile through the chilly wind to make mom happy! We have already decided to aim for warmer temps to make things more enjoyable for this stylish family next year! Thank you so much Suzie and Keith for letting DRphoto photograph your family through the milestones!

Jillian + Marcus: your images are finished!

Thank you again for letting me be a part of your big day! Hope you enjoy!
